Alec Bauer
Alec Bauer was born in Cedar Rapids Iowa in 1988. His family relocated to Dubuque Iowa in 1992 where he began to draw and paint at a very young age. Alec graduated from Dubuque Senior High School in 2006, after completing several art courses and furthering his skills in photography and several styles of 2D art, including realism and portrait style. He was then accepted to Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids Iowa for a degree in Graphic Design. While at Kirkwood, he started to learn more about different styles of basic 2D art and basic photography development. Set to graduate in 2008, Alec decided to withdraw from school to further his newly discovered passion for the art of tattooing.
Alec has now been tattooing since March of 2007, during which he has become a multiple award winning artist and has been featured in several tattoo publications across the United States.
