Tristan Lewellyn
Tristan is an accomplished tattoo artist at Funhouse Tattoo San Diego and has been producing incredible tattoos at the shop for nearly 3 years.
Tristan is originally from New Hampshire, and at a young age his strong passion for art was already a driving force in his life. In his early 20 ‘s he honed his skills and traveled in search of inspiration and artistic opportunity.
Tristan eventually settled in San Diego and transitioned from working in kitchens to the art world. He built his portfolio by selling commissioned pieces and doing exhibitions whenever possible throughout San Diego.
He made the final stride into the world of tattooing after completing a formal apprenticeship here at Funhouse Tattoo tattoo shop in Pacific Beach in 2016. He draws inspiration from artists like MC Escher, Salvador Dali, Godmachime, Alex Grey, and Chet Czar.
